SUNY Canton Offers Security Guard Training Classes: The College will be offering a pre-assignment course and eight-hour in-service training course. An eight-hour pre-assignment training course will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 20 and An eight-hour annual in-service training course will also be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 20.
6th Annual Mohawk Valley Technology Symposium is April 1: The all day event will present current scientific and technological developments of area engineering firms, academic institutions, and research organizations. Symposium presentations will qualify for both Professional Development Hours (PDHs), and for Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) for government employees.
Goo Goo Dolls to perform April 10 at SUNY Oswego: The Goo Goo Dolls, a Buffalo-based rock band with an upcoming album and a national following, will perform April 10 at SUNY Oswego’s Campus Center Arena and Convocation Hall.
